We’ve Got Supreme Talent But Teams Are Starting To – Michael Beale Makes Admission

Sunderland boss Michael Beale is of the view that the Black Cats squad is full of supreme talent, but feels that teams in the Championship are starting to be rough and aggressive against them.

Beale secured three points against Hull City on Boxing Day, following his debut at Sunderland with a 3-0 thumping at the hands of Coventry City, all thanks to an incredible Jack Clarke goal.

Beale believes the Sunderland team is incredibly gifted and plays a beautiful style of football; yet, the Sunderland manager emphasized that other teams are attempting to stop them by being harsh and violent.

In addition, he emphasized that Sunderland’s style of play had earned them respect from all of the division’s teams, and he thought his squad should take advantage of the opportunities they create to win games.

Beale told Sunderland’s reporters, “We have amazing talent, we play the game beautifully, and everyone in the league respects us.”
Teams are becoming a little bit more aggressive, a little bit more challenging, and a little bit rougher with us.

It will depend on our ability to execute in the last third as they attempt to halt us on the counters.
“We generate opportunities, which we did in the Coventry City match on Saturday.

“We must accept them.”

Beale will be looking to win two straight away from home when Sunderland plays Rotherham United at the New York Stadium on Friday.
