Newcastle have signed the Denmark Under-21 striker, West Ham Utd player agrees UAE move: View

Newcastle have signed the Denmark Under-21 striker William Osula from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee, understood to be an initial £10m. The 21-year-old played 21 times in the Premier League last season without scoring, having spent the previous campaign on loan at Derby in League One.

Osula began his career at his hometown club Copenhagen before moving to United in 2018. Newcastle’s manager, Eddie Howe, said: “William is a talented young forward with all the attributes to be an exciting player for Newcastle United. We have watched his development closely and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with him in this next step in his career.”

The West Ham defender Kurt Zouma has agreed a move to the UAE Pro League

The West Ham defender Kurt Zouma has agreed a move to the UAE Pro League side Shabab Al-Ahli and will travel for a medical. The 29-year-old made 33 Premier League appearances last season but would not be guaranteed game time under Julen Lopetegui and has decided to leave after a decade in England’s top flight.

Zouma cost West Ham almost £30m from Chelsea in 2021 but is set to go for a nominal amount, helping Lopetegui free up wages and a space in the squad after the signing of six players, including the £40m Maximilian Kilman from Wolves.

Zouma won two Premier League titles, the Champions League and the League Cup with Chelsea, and added a Europa Conference League winner’s medal in 2023.
