Bayern Munich star available for loan as Paris Saint-Germain’s interest remains

Bayern Munich’s plan to offload some of their highest paid stars such as Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman has hit a very predictable roadblock: nobody has the combined desire and money to extract any of these players out of the club. While the former two also seem rather unwilling to leave, that might not be the case for the latter. Now, if one believes Florian Plettenberg’s report, Bayern are willing to forego an immediate fee to offload Coman:

FC Bayern, now also open for a loan deal of Kingsley Coman with an option or obligation to buy. Paris Saint-Germain still interested in Coman with ongoing talks. PSG informed about the option of a loan [but it is] not advanced yet and no final decision. More inquiries for Coman on the table. Contract valid until 2027.

As the transfer window draws closer to its’ end, perhaps interest in the former Juventus winger will start to form again. Or perhaps Coman and the others will remain at the club, uncomfortably having to deal with the fact that the people in charge no longer want them around.
