Mo Salah, a star player for Liverpool, says he gets addicted to a hobby “literally every day.”

With 198 goals for Liverpool since joining from Roma in the summer of 2017, forward Mohamed Salah has solidified his status as a cult hero at Anfield.

It appears that Mo Salah, a star player for Liverpool, is interested in more than just football.

The ‘Egyptian King’ has scored ten goals in the Premier League this season, demonstrating his continued success on Merseyside. This is true even though the Saudi Pro League pursued the 31-year-old during the summer transfer window, rejecting an offer of ÂŁ150 million from Al-Ittihad for him.

Salah has scored 198 goals for the Reds in 322 games, but he has many other passions besides goal scoring. The player who is well-known for his quick reflexes has even acknowledged that he plays chess every day.

“I play chess and I have a chess addiction. Really, every single day,” he said to Sky Sports. “Some people ask me, ‘Are you Mo Salah?’ because I put my name and some numbers on there.” They don’t believe me when I say “yes,” so I respond, “Yes, I am lying.” They don’t believe me.”

It’s obvious that the 2019 Champions League victor enjoys watching the game as well. However, he is not even close to the caliber of five-time World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen. He went on, “I’m good, I’m not Magnus, but I’m good.” Magnus offers no chance to anyone.

However, the Norwegian has made a suggestion that he might give the former Roma man an opportunity to prove himself. In response to the remarks, he made a mysterious social media post that read, “i plays chess on a daily basis”.

Salah participated for ninety minutes in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Saturday. But the hosts, who owed Alexander-arnold a late, sweet equalizer after Erling Haaland (the only player with more goals than Salah in the Premier League this season) had put City ahead, kept him remarkably quiet.
