Bayern tie down two versatile player with three years contract extension: View

Just because Bayern Munich’s men’s team is making (literal) moves in the transfer window, that’s not to say the Frauen are sitting idle. First off is Giulia Gwinn who extended to 2027: “Bayern has become my home, and I’m very happy that I get to be here in the coming years as well,” Gwinn said (via Bayern’s official website).

“I didn’t have to think long. I feel incredibly at home here and think this is the place where I can continue to develop the most and in the most authentic way. I’m in a great environment where the work every day gives me everything I need.”

Sporting director Bianca Rech is also looking forward to at least three more years with the defender. “This extension is another milestone for us. Giulia is an important player and one of the faces of FC Bayern Women, so it’s a big step for us to extend her contract.” Gwinn wasn’t the only one who got a deal: Lena Oberdorf also put pen to paper
