Versatile player undergo a medical at Everton today as agreement in place over personal terms and transfer fee

Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam will undergo a medical at Everton on Thursday Sources say there is now a full agreement in place over personal terms and the transfer fee as the England U-20 international prepares to make his move to Goodison Park.

The cost of the transfer will be around ÂŁ10million as Sean Dyche looks to add to his midfield options for next season.

Iroegbunam is now expected to sign for Everton barring any late unexpected twists in the deal.

Tim Iroegbunam set to make Everton move as medical booked

Iroegbunam has seen his first-team opportunities limited at Villa Park since joining the club from West Brom in 2021.

The midfielder spent the 2022-23 season out on loan with Championship side Queens Park Rangers, where he scored four goals and laid on four assists in 32 appearances.

Although Iroegbunam played 15 games for Unai Emery’s side last season, he only started in two of those matches.

But the youngster did feature home and away against Ajax in the Europa Conference League – a tie Villa won 4-0 on aggregate.

Villa are looking to raise cash as they are believed to be on the limit of their allowable profit and sustainability (PSR) losses.
