Thomas Müller shuts down talk of coaching change at Bayern Munich

Following two straight losses, there has been a lot of conjecture about Thomas Tuchel’s future as Bayern Munich manager. To shut out, however, is all sound and fury for the team’s locker room leaders as they try to save their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League and Bundesliga this year.

When asked if Tuchel was still the best man for the job following the Lazio loss, veteran Thomas Müller responded, “You can have these discussions over the coach, but we players are the wrong people to talk to” (as caught by Sky Sport DE, via @iMiaSanMia). It’s also a little impolite.

“Of course the sporting situation is not good at the moment. We players and the coach are working every day to overcome it. You can do your analysis, but you don’t have to wait for us to tear ourselves apart. We stick together.”
