Another blow for Harry Kane & Bayern Munich! New signing….

Another setback for Bayern Munich and Harry Kane! new signee Sacha Boey was injured right away, keeping the struggling Bundesliga champions out of the game.

Bayern has not been playing well lately. They were defeated 3-0 by Bayer Leverkusen the previous weekend and then 1-0 by Lazio in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals. They have now suffered a setback as Boey, a January signing from Galatasaray, is expected to miss many weeks due to a hamstring strain.

Boey has only made two appearances in the Bundesliga since being signed in January for a sum of €30 million (£25 million) plus €5 million (£4 million) in add-ons. His lone start came in the loss to Leverkusen. Nevertheless, Thomas Tuchel loses a valuable rotation option due to his injury.

The 23-year-old is a France U21 international but has never played for the senior team, and one has to think his move to Bayern was partly motivated by his desire to win a full cap. However, his injury issues may now put a pause on those hopes.

Bayern are next in action on Sunday against Bochum. They are currently five points behind Leverkusen, so a win is desperately needed for Tuchel’s side.
