Fulham and Crystal Palace have finally agreed to a £30 million deal for the player.

Prior to the Premier League season, the Eagles have been quite active, bringing in players like Chadi Riad, Daichi Kamada, and Ismaila Sarr to Selhurst Park. The team suffered a significant loss when Michael Olise joined Bayern Munich, one of several significant departures that were planned. There have been ongoing rumours about Marc Guehi going to Newcastle, Eberechi Eze’s future, and a possible departure from Copers Cope. Joachim Andersen, meanwhile, has just two years left on his Crystal Palace deal, and he has been linked to a move to Fulham.
Joachim Andersen’s transfer seems to be imminent now that rumours of a potential move to Fulham across London have surfaced. The Athletic reports that Fulham and Crystal Palace have agreed to a deal for up to £30 million for Andersen.
The Danish international is now expected to finalise a deal in the last few weeks of the transfer window. He previously played on loan for The Cottagers before securing a move to The Eagles. It put Palace in a challenging scenario with respect to the 28-year-old’s future at the team, as he only had two years left on his contract.
In 113 games across all competitions, Andersen has contributed six assists and three goals to Crystal Palace. Andersen’s apparent impending departure from the team puts Crystal Palace in a challenging situation in terms of their roster balance. It gives someone like Riad more opportunities, but there’s also the ongoing conflict with Guehi. Newcastle is showing interest in the England international, and with only two years left on his deal, his future at the club is uncertain.

Oliver Glasner will be forced to return to the transfer market in search of greater depth if the Eagles decide to trade him this window as well. Some of these transactions are closing quickly, but Crystal Palace has been strongly said to be interested in Maxence Lacroix.
