Following predictions that they could struggle following a turbulent summer, Wolves has captivated the attention of supporters with victories over Manchester City, Tottenham, and Chelsea.

O’Neil is still trying to reduce the “crazy” moments and errors that happen during games, but he also wants to strike a balance between the two without detracting from the team’s passion.

O’Neil remarked, “I love the group and the emotion they have; I love that they always give everything.”

“It’s a delicate balancing act for me to attempt to give them enough autonomy and insight without trying to diminish who they are.

They are an excellent bunch. The only area I see for improvement is depth, since we occasionally find ourselves fielding under-21s or under-18s, which can be problematic for Premier League matches.

“I think we can have a right go against most people when we’re not unfortunate with injuries and suspensions and the group is in a good spot.”

It is my duty to maximize their potential and ensure that they are fully utilized.

“I believe the fans have responded well to them thus far; they are a good group that has given me and the fans everything.”

“Most people anticipated that we would have a very difficult season, but the guys deserve credit for the work they’ve done so far.”
