Captain James Tavernier Emotional Speech To Rangers Fans after CL exit

After Rangers’ Champions League setback, James Tavernier, the captain of the team, assures supporters that with more effort and the formation of new relationships, their performance would improve.

Dynamo Kyiv scored two goals late at Hampden to defeat Rangers 3-1 on aggregate after Brazilian full-back Jefte received a harsh second yellow card.

The 2-0 loss came after a lackluster start to the William Hill Premiership season, in which Philippe Clement’s team drew with Hearts and defeated an injured Motherwell team 2-1 at the temporary home of Rangers.
The Light Blues’ attention will now turn to the Premier Sports Cup defense, which starts on Saturday at the national stadium against St Johnstone. They will now enter the Europa League group stage.

The summer transfer activity and Ibrox construction delays have shaken the faith of Rangers fans, but Tavernier thinks things will get better after promising debuts for summer additions Vaclav Cerny and Connor Barron.

Tavernier stated on Rangers TV: “We have got to look back on this as quickly as possible, see where we can improve because we know as a team we can play better.”However, we need to set this aside and focus entirely on the game this coming weekend. “We have fresh guys joining us who are working to improve their match fitness. We’re all still learning as a group. As this was Vac’s second game in front of me, we are attempting to forge that alliance.

“We are putting in our best effort and giving it our all for the team and the badge. There will be performances. We are going to fight to the very end, and we are working hard every day on the training field.”
