PARKINSON’S MENTION
“I looked at it, spoke to the owners, weighed everything up and thought, ‘Wow, what a story that could be,'” Parkinson said to FourFourTwo about accepting the unusual encounter. Making memories is a big part of playing football. I had a great first conversation with the proprietors. We had a conversation about what I thought would be necessary moving forward, and they fully supported what I said. They are sincere individuals who, in a refreshing way, only say things that they can honestly support. They’ve been really helpful to me and the staff, and it seems like they’ve had fun too. It’s been a lot of fun for me too. With so many dynamics, this club has been a really new experience for me. at the club – getting to know Rob, Ryan and our executive director Humphrey Ker, plus everything with the documentary.”

FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM?
Parkinson led Wrexham to a National League championship in 2017 that broke all previous records, and they are currently ranked among the League Two front-runners, Reynolds and McElhenney, are hoping to fulfill their aspirations of playing in the Premier League by receiving back-to-back promotions.
