Wrexham, who are in the promotion mix after a strong start to their first League Two campaign since 2008, will be aiming to make it two promotions in a row.
Wrexham’s Hollywood owners, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, are known to have a financial clout that most League Two clubs just cannot match.
Due to their financial situation, Wrexham was able to attract players like Ben Foster while they were in the National League. Earlier this season, the Red Dragons also signed James McClean, a winger for the Republic of Ireland.
After spending a lot of money on former Premier League players, the club’s Hollywood owners will be hopeful for promotion. These are signings that a typical fourth-tier side cannot compete with.
The club will be trying to bolster its roster as January approaches, and they may aim to sign players who have contracts expiring at the end of the following year in an attempt to sign them for a reduced fee.

Garrick is a quick winger who might play at a higher level than League Two, thus he would be a valuable addition should Wrexham be promoted.

Prior to spending time on loan at Swindon, Plymouth, and Lincoln, the 25-year-old started his senior career with Swansea, where he made 19 appearances and recorded three goals and three assists.
He was a League One player when he joined Forest Green Rovers in January 2023. He scored five goals in the second half of the 2022–2023 season before sustaining an injury that has kept him out ever since. Next summer, his contract in Gloucestershire expires.
Courtney Baker-Richardson
Crewe Alexandra striker Courtney Baker-Richardson has been in decent goalscoring form in League Two this season, and has actually scored more goals than all of Wrexham’s current striker options.
Although Wrexham has depth at striker, Baker-Richardson may be a long-term solution for the Red Dragons given the age of players like Steven Fletcher.
The 28-year-old Crewe player, who has played in the Championship, League One, and League Two, would be a good choice for Wrexham as they aim to advance up the leagues.
Andy King
King, a 35-year-old midfielder, is struggling to get playing time at Bristol City. Since his contract is up in the summer, Wrexham could be an ideal place to acquire him.
Despite his advanced age, the Welshman has 50 caps for his nation, and Wrexham is willing to take a chance on him as they have just signed Ben Foster, Steven Fletcher, and James McClean.
A Premier League winner with Leicester City, King has a wealth of experience and may relish the chance to help steer Wrexham into League One.
Fankaty Dabo
Dabo, the right-back for Forest Green Rovers, signed a one-year contract with the team last summer; hence, his contract expires the following summer.
Dabo is unquestionably capable of playing at a level above League Two. He was a player for Coventry City in the Championship play-off final as recently as May. The Sky Blues lost the match because he missed the game-winning penalty in the shootout.
That summer, after being let go by Coventry, he found himself playing for a struggling Forest Green team at League Two level.
The 28-year-old could provide good competition for the full-backs currently at the Racecourse.
Zac Williams
Williams, a 19-year-old center back for Crewe who was born in Rhyl, North Wales, has been a consistent member of the team at Gresty Road, missing only a few games due to injury. Williams is the kind of player Wrexham should be pursuing as they position themselves for success in the future.
