WHERE IS THE GAME TAKING PLACE?

Having returned from their training camp in Germany last week, Newcastle are playing a rare domestic pre-season game before heading to Japan for a two-game tour next week.

The game against Hull will take place at the Tigers’ home stadium, the MKM Stadium, and will mark the Magpies’ ninth outing at the stadium.

The most recent was another friendly, in the summer before the 2018-19 season, and saw Newcastle draw 2-2 thanks to goals from Joselu and Ayoze Perez.

WHAT TIME IS KICK-OFF?

Saturday’s game kicks off at 2pm.

ARE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

Newcastle were given an allocation of 4,500 tickets for the away section of the ground and all have been sold.

However, tickets for other sections of the stadium are still available via the ticketing section of Hull City’s official website.

IS THE GAME BEING TELEVISED OR STREAMED LIVE?

The game is not being televised, but a streaming service is available via Newcastle United’s official website.

A special package that will allow streaming for all six of Newcastle’s remaining friendlies (men’s and women’s matches) is available for purchase priced at £14.99 for MAGS members and £24.95 for non-members.

Alternatively, a one-off streaming pass covering only the match against Hull can be bought for £4.99.

WHAT IS NEWCASTLE’S LIKELY LINE-UP?

Newcastle are without long-term injury victims Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles, while Callum Wilson, Lewis Miley and Matt Targett also remain unavailable.

Lloyd Kelly, Tino Livramento and Joe Willock were not involved in last weekend’s behind-closed-doors game in Germany, but it remains to be seen whether they feature against Hull.

Similarly, while Fabian Schar and Miguel Almiron were pictured back in training yesterday, it remains to be seen whether any of Newcastle’s international players are involved on Humberside. Martin Dubravka, Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes and Kieran Trippier were also given an extended break after their summer international exploits.

Sandro Tonali cannot play in any of Newcastle’s friendlies ahead of his scheduled return to action at the start of September.

HOW ARE HULL SHAPING UP?

Championship side Hull have played two pre-season games in Turkey so far this summer, drawing 1-1 with Kasimpasa and losing 5-1 to Fenerbahce. An inexperienced XI featuring youth-team players suffered a 4-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday evening.

Hull are under new management, with German head coach Tim Walter having been appointed in May to replace Liam Rosenior, who left after his side missed out on a play-off place last season.

Summer signing Cody Drameh could be handed a first Hull appearance after joining the club from Leeds United earlier this week.
