Leeds playmaker has told his agent to seal Elland Road exit

Football Insider have reported Leeds United and Real Betis are making progress over a permanent deal for Marc Roca.

The Spaniard joined the La Liga side on loan in the summer and now talks are underway for a permanent transfer.

Roca joined Leeds United in June 2022, and he is determined to leave the team. He has given his agent instructions to complete the transfer.

With 16 of his club’s 18 league starts coming from the starting lineup, 27-year-old Manuel Pellegrini has been a vital member of the Spanish team. For his squad this season, the midfield player has two goals and one assist.

This season, the former star of Bayern Munich also started each of Real Betis’ six Europa League games. Pellegrini’s squad was demoted to the Conference League and did not make it to the next stage of the competition.

After Leeds was demoted from the Premier League, Roca was one of several players that exercised their release clause and left the team.

In 2022, the defensive midfielder made a £10 million transfer from Bayern Munich to Leeds.

Leeds is now third in the Championship and seems certain to return to the English football premier league quickly.
