Crystal Palace winger set for loan move as Leeds United weighing up Summerville alternative

Leeds United could be set for a double transfer breakthrough after a move for Sheffield United’s Jayden Bogle. While Daniel Farke is ticking off a major problem positon with the expected arrival of right-back Bogle, he could turn his attentions to Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi next.

The winger looks set to leave Selhurst Park on another loan deal after impressing with Charlton Athletic last term. Leeds have reportedly expressed an interest in Rak-Sakyi, with a Championship deal thought to appeal to the Eagles.

Leeds saw Jack Harrison rejoin Everton on loan last month and are braced for the potential exits of Crysencio Summerville and Willy Gnonto. While United will hope to keep hold of at least one of their attacking widemen, they know big-money offers could yet come in for both.

Indeed Palace are among the clubs weighing up a bid for Summerville, with Michael Olise having left the South London club for Bayern Munich in a ÂŁ50m deal. They see the Dutchman as the ideal replacement, although at this stage there is no talk of any deal involving both players.

Rak-Sakyi has been the subject of interest from Southampton and Sheffield United already this summer, with the Saints’ interest snubbed as Palace do not want to loan him to a Premier League rival. The 21-year-old scored 15 goals at League One Charlton last season and Palace have high hopes of further developments.
