Leicester City loan man open to permanent stay, potential deal would cost just under £15m

Abdul Fatawu, a loan player from Leicester City, stated he would be “happy” to remain with the Foxes after his initial assignment is up.
During the summer transfer window, Leicester City signed Ghanaian sensation Fatawu from Sporting CP on a loan. However, information about a possible long-term contract quickly surfaced, with the Foxes obligated to sign him for £14.6 million should they be promoted back to the Premier League.

“I want to play in the Premier League because it’s my dream league, and Leicester has changed my feelings ever since I’ve been here. My confidence to stay here has increased because of how the people here have been.

“I’d be happy to stay at Leicester because I know and believe in the team, so I’ll be happy to stay here and help us qualify for the Premier League.”

Future star Fatawu has the potential to be a huge help to Leicester City this season, and if they win promotion, the young player may end up being a fixture on the team for years to come.
