In 15 Championship games, the 19-year-old has managed two goals and one assist. Although he hasn’t contributed many goals, Fatawu is still one of Ghana’s best players and has shown encouraging indications in the wings.

The Leicester City loanee has now discussed the possibility of remaining at the King Power Stadium once his loan term expires.

According to Leicestershire Live, Fatawu stated in an interview with Soccer Laduma that he would be “happy” to remain with the team in order to pursue his goal of playing in the Premier League. He declared:

“I want to play in the Premier League because it’s my dream league, and Leicester has changed my feelings ever since I’ve been here. My confidence to stay here has increased because of how the people here have been.

“I’d be happy to stay at Leicester because I know and believe in the team, so I’ll be happy to stay here and help us qualify for the Premier League.”

Future star Fatawu has the potential to be a huge help to Leicester City this season, and if they win promotion, the young player may end up being a fixture on the team for years to come. He has a strong left boot and is a dynamic, upbeat presence on the wing who might score a lot of goals in the years to come.

There is no way to question his potential. If he stays, it will be crucial to make sure he makes the most of it—though promotion will ultimately determine that.

Fatawu seemed to be really excited about the idea of sticking with the team as well. Even after being relegated, Leicester City appears to be headed in the right way under Maresca’s leadership, with Ghanaian sensation Fatawu leading the way.
