U19 youngster set to earn roster spot with Bayern Munich first team: View

Bayern Munich attacker Arijon Ibrahimović seems to have had a successful enough stint with Frosinone to convince the club’s CEO that he will — eventually — be able to break into Bayern Munich’s lineup.

According to kicker journalist Georg Holzner, Ibrahimović is “firmly” in Bayern Munich’s plans for next season:

Arijon #Ibrahimovic is firmly planned for next season, he is to gain minutes and experience as a back-up. He has “gone from a boy to a man”, says #fcbayern. And Frosinone CEO Guido Angelozzi tells @kicker: “He will win a place for himself at FC Bayern.”

In 2023/2024, Ibrahimović tallied two goals and one assist in 18 games across all competitions with Frosinone, while also having one goal and one assist in two games for Bayern Munich II as well.

Playing mostly as a left-wing last season, Ibrahimović could potentially see more expansive role with Bayern Munich if the club opts to refresh the wing position as has been rumored.
