John Lundstram sends message to Michael Beale as Rangers exit announced

John Lundstram has sent a message to Michael Beale after his Rangers exit was announced.

The Gers confirmed via their official website (1 June) that Lundstram is one of five first-team players who will leave the club following the expiry of his contract.

And the Englishman has penned an emotional farewell, making sure to mention Beale on his way out.

Lundstram wrote via Instagram (5 June), “So, Thank you to Steven, Gio, Michael and Phillipe.”

It took Lundstram a few days to put together his goodbye message.

This just demonstrates how much the club meant to him and the impact life at Ibrox has had on the Englishman.

Many supporters would have no doubt teared up as they read his goodbye message.

Lundstram achieved plenty of success at Rangers and created countless memories.

He was a big part of some memorable teams and will be remembered fondly among the Gers faithful.

And his thank you message to Beale was his chance to provide one last classy touch before saying goodbye to Glasgow.

Although Beale wasn’t with Rangers long, and his time with the club is largely seen as a failure, Lundstram still made sure to thank him for his contributions.

It goes to show that while Beale didn’t create a successful legacy at Ibrox he at least made an impact on some of the players he coached.
