Documents update emerges between both parties as West Ham close-in on £25.5million new transfer

West Ham and Palmeiras have exchanged the documents with a transfer for striker Luis Guilherme understood to be close, according to Eduardo Rodrigues.

The Globo journalist reported on 3 June that the deal will be a total of £25.5million including bonuses as the Hammers look to seal the deal.

This comes after claims that Saudi Arabian clubs were looking to hijack the deal and a move for the Brazilian was off the cards, per Ben Jacobs.

Rodrigues wrote on Twitter: “Palmeiras exchanges documents with West Ham and is close to selling Luis Guilherme. As reported by @brunoandrd and @andrehernan, it is for 23 million fixed euros and another 7 million euros in bonuses.”

The Hammers’ pursuit of Guilherme from Palmeiras faced significant hurdles, including competition from Saudi Arabian clubs and initial reports suggesting the deal had fallen through.

Despite these challenges, West Ham demonstrated resilience and adaptability by continuing negotiations with Palmeiras.

The exchange of documents and the reported agreement on a £25.5million fee including bonuses, signifies the clubs’ determination to secure the transfer.

This outcome is a testament to the Irons’ ability to navigate adversity and maintain focus on their objectives.

By overcoming these obstacles, the London side have shown a commitment to strengthening their squad and improving their competitive position in the Premier League.

Hopefully, there are no more twists down the line and it is now a straightforward way to get things done.
