NEWS UPDATE: Leeds United to make use of key squad asset as Championship intensity dialled up

Leeds United play nine Championship games between now and New Year’s Day

As Leeds United prepares for what looks to be a busy holiday season, the value of depth cannot be understated. Between now and New Year’s Day, the Whites have nine games scheduled, including some crucial matchups against opponents vying for promotion.

In an effort to keep things interesting and distribute the workload throughout the upcoming month, Daniel Farke will therefore be ready to look to the fringes of his team. Thus far this season, Farke has made few adjustments to his starting lineup; the manager’s preferred starting eleven has been clear from the outset.

When asked about his five changes, Farke responded, “We were struggling in the second half to create more chances and put more pressure on them.” “After we altered the base formation, this changed. I thought Patrick Bamford was two inches offside, but I also thought Jaidon Anthony scored the goal and Willy [Gnonto] played with a lot of energy.

“Patrick scared the center backs and pinned opponents by coming in behind.” All of our substitutions pleased me.
