Leeds United transfer rumours with Championship boss quizzed on Whites ‘target’

Liam Rosenior, the head coach of Hull City, declined to comment on rumors that the Championship team is interested in Ryan Kent from Leeds United. The Whites and Bournemouth are among the teams reportedly closely monitoring the Fenerbache winger’s condition.

Kent, a former Liverpool young player who only joined the Turkish powerhouses this summer after leaving Rangers, has not impressed. He is 27 years old. In 15 games across all competitions, he has only provided two assists and one goal.

When asked about their reported interest in Kent, Rosenior said: “For me I don’t comment on other players at other clubs. I focus on the work we do here. I focus on the bodies I have in the squad. We have a plan and we know what we want.

This season, Gelhardt has struggled to get playing time at Elland Road because Patrick Bamford and Georginio Rutter are ahead of him in the starting lineup. The 21-year-old and Huddersfield Town have been connected in the past.

Rosenior, whose team plays Middlesbrough at the Riverside tonight, stated, “We’re working really hard (on the transfer front) to give ourselves the best opportunity to be successful for this season and that is all I can say.”
