Paul Mullin sends motivational message to Wrexham squad

Wrexham registered their 19th win of the current League Two season on Saturday as they came back from behind to beat Morecambe 3-1. Gerard Garner opened the scoring for the hosts in the fourth minute of the match but James McClean restored parity for the Red Dragons. Mullin then handed his team the lead from the penalty spot in the second half before Steven Fletcher’s strike sealed a memorable win for the Welsh club.

After scoring for his team, Mullin shared a motivational message for his teammates as he took to Instagram to share a couple of photographs from the match.

WHAT PAUL MULLIN SAID

In an inspiring caption, the star striker wrote, “10 to go.”

The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side are now third in League Two, tied on points with second-placed Stockport and three points behind league leaders Mansfield Town. With 10 matches to go, the Red Dragons are now pushing for a second consecutive promotion as they eye a spot in League One next season.

Phil Parkinson’s side, who have won their last two league games, will be next seen in action against Harrogate Town on Tuesday.
