WWE Raw Predictions: Seth Rollins Will BURY Jey Uso

Falls Match. Also, Shinsuke Nakamura revealed that the opponent he was alluding to all along was Cody Rhodes. Many speculated it would have been CM Punk. However, it seems WWE has inserted a fresh filler feud for Cody Rhodes on Raw before he goes to SmackDown to finish the story against Roman Reigns on the road to Mania.

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Randy Orton returned to Raw last week to let Mama Ripley know that Daddy is home, and he solidified that claim by defeating Dirty Dom in his big return to Raw. However, it looks like he is done with Judgment Day on Raw because he then proceeded to officially join SmackDown to get his revenge on The Bloodline after telling Jey Uso on Raw to stay out of his business with The Bloodline. CM Punk also returned to Raw in the main event to cut what many would say a “tame promo” that actually told an impeccable story in just five minutes.

The Miz wants a second chance at the gold, even since Gunther still holds the title against her. Bronson Reed and Ivar had a double countout somewhere in the mid card, and they will probably square off in a rematch this week. In the tag divisions, there will probably be new opponents in the upcoming weeks after Tegan Nox and Natalya lost to Chelsea Green and Piper Niven for the tag titles last week. Creed Bros, on the other hand, are the front-runners for Judgment Day’s Tag Team Championships after winning the tag match last week.

Having said that, this article will concentrate on the four confirmed bouts as well as the notion that Seth Rollins will defeat Jey Uso en route to WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

Jey Uso vs. Seth Rollins (c) for the World Heavyweight Championship
Because Jey Uso is not yet developed enough to be a global champion and Seth Rollins has already established seeds for potential feuds with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins will defeat Jey Uso to keep the global Heavyweight Championship. Furthermore, Rollins won’t lose his world title in a random Raw match with little to no justification for a title change. This title battle serves just as a demonstration of Jey Uso’s ability to perform well in a main event setting before ultimately losing and making amends with a consolation award on the way to Mania.

Suggested: Seth Rollins

Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax [Mordor Match]
After defeating Zoey Stark the previous week, Nia Jax was certain to face Shayna Baszler, her tag partner, this week. This bout will be won by Nia Jax because, as recently hinted on Raw, she is building momentum for a potential rekindled “FaceBreaker” feud with Becky Lynch on the way to WrestleMania. Since Nia and Shayna were tag team teammates and past tag team champions in 2020 and 2021, they actually have a ton of history. But Nia Jax of today is not the same Nia Jax of yesterday, and she will demonstrate that by defeating Baszler handily on her way to Mania.

Forecast: Nia Jax

Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn [Grudge Match]

Drew McIntyre will defeat Sami Zayn because he needs to rebuild his momentum for his future world title shot against Seth Rollins, which will likely occur at the Royal Rumble. Sami Zayn made some compelling points last week in conveying that he and McIntyre had similar paths in the troubles they had with The Bloodline. They both lost to Roman Reigns in their hometowns of the UK and Montreal Quebec, Canada at Clash at the Castle and Elimination Chamber respectively.

However, their reactions to their downfalls were different and thereby a testament to their abilities to being championship material when their backs are against the wall. The heel McIntyre remains salty about The Bloodline and wants revenge, whilst the babyface Zayn dusted that salty chip off his shoulder and continued fighting for redemption. This storyline is WrestleMania worthy and the WWE fans get to witness it for free on Raw. This should definitely be a banger.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Imperium versus Do It Yourself [Three Falls, Two Match]
In this two-out, three falls match, DIY will prevail over Imperium because they are the best team to unseat Judgment Day for the tag belts and since they are a long way from returning to the top of the rankings. They were at a disadvantage because they had to go past five other teams in order to start the tag team turmoil, but they still made significant progress. Judgment Day cannot be overthrown by the Creed Bros. DIY’s compelling narrative and stronger audience connection ensure their unavoidable triumph on the route to Mania and cement their unforgettable reunion for this year.

Forecast: Do It Yourself
