Bayern Munich to sign a new manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in place of Thomas Tuchel axe and temporary move

Bayern Munich’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is “eyed” as they consider firing Thomas Tuchel and making a temporary move.
Since leaving Manchester United in November 2021, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been without a coaching position; nevertheless, he is currently being considered as a possible option for Bayern Munich should they decide to fire Thomas Tuchel

Due to their three consecutive losses, the Bavarians are eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and could be eliminated from the Champions League. Tuchel, who told his team they are “not as good as I thought” following last week’s 1-0 loss against Lazio, is under more pressure now because of this.

Hansi Flick has been suggested as a potential candidate for the position in the event that Tuchel is fired immediately, while Xabi Alonso has been identified as Tuchel’s long-term replacement. But Solskjaer, the former manager of Manchester United, is also a contender.

The 50-year-old is being “monitored” by Bayern, according to Sky Germany. After being out of coaching for more than two years, Solskjaer is reportedly prepared to return to management. Nevertheless, despite the problems with his management and his disagreements with key players like Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, Bayern would want to continue with Tuchel until the very end of the season.

After leaving United in November 2021, Solskjaer has not returned to management. The Norwegian helped United finish in second place in the 2020–21 season while he was at Old Trafford.

After a disappointing start to the next season and a 4-1 loss against Watford, which dropped the Red Devils to seventh place with 17 points from their first 12 games, he was fired. Last year, when Solskjaer announced his resignation from United, he claimed to The Athletic, “I knew at half-time against Watford. Nobody told me.”

“Our squad didn’t appear to be Manchester United; the players weren’t pursuing one another. I instructed the guys at halftime to play with pride because it was likely the last time we would work together. We were on the verge of a turnaround when Harry Maguire was dismissed.”

After a shocking 3-2 loss to Bochum on Sunday, Bayern will be trying to recover when they play RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena next weekend. After losing against Bochum, Bayern postponed Tuchel’s news conference in order to have internal discussions on his future.

Nonetheless, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen confirmed the former Chelsea manager would be in control of their match against Leipzig in a public display of solidarity. “I don’t believe in these heinous statements of support for coaches,” he declared. After a week, these oaths of loyalty are already over—I know what you want to hear.
