Taking all competitions into account, meanwhile, United have won 10 and drawn one of their 11 matches this calendar year.

According to Opta’s Jonny Cooper on Twitter [17 February], Leeds has never had 10 wins so early in the calendar year.

Leeds United last achieved that double-figure milestone on March 9, 1968, or almost 56 years ago.

In fact, in the more than a century-long history of the English Football League, this is the earliest into a year that a second-tier team has ever won ten games.

Following Saturday’s (17 February) win at Home Park, Archie Gray and Glen Kamara have ended on the winning side in 10 successive games.

There have only been eleven Leeds players in the past who have accomplished that, and none at all since Andy Hughes in April and September of 2009.

With a 90.4 percent passing accuracy versus Plymouth, Kamara once again showed his skills, and Gray, a midfielder by trade, topped the team in tackles (four) and interceptions (three) [WhoScored].

With Leeds looking for an immediate return to the top flight, you can anticipate that the records will continue to fall in this kind of manner.
