After Liverpool defeated Chelsea, Newcastle, and Bournemouth in January, Klopp was awarded ‘Manager of the Month’ for the first time since the 2020–21 campaign. That was his first honor since May 2021, when they finished the challenging season in third place after five wins.

Jota, who has been playing well lately, won the Premier League’s “Player of the Month” award after contributing two assists and three goals in those three victories. We’ve chosen to delve deeper into both Liverpool players, even though Connor Bradley was also honored with the PFA Fans Player of the Month title for his outstanding performance this month.

At least Klopp managed to win another prize of this caliber prior to his departure from English football, as he is departing at the end of the current campaign. Nine times before, he took home the trophy, five of those victories being in the span of just six months during his outstanding 2019–20 campaign.

In addition, he has the opportunity to expand his collection as his team chases the Premier League, but in just over a week at Wembley versus Chelsea, they might win their first trophy of the year. In addition, they are favorites in the FA Cup, which they will win over Man City, and in the Europa League, where they will likely win the European Cup.

Diogo Jota

While Mohamed Salah was hurt and out on international duty, the Portuguese assumed the role of Liverpool’s most dependable attacker. With 14 goals and three assists in 27 games so far, the forward is currently having his finest season as a member of the team.

Because Jota has been a reliable player, he is really seventh in Europe for the most non-penalty goals scored per90 with 0.80, behind Kylian Mbappe (0.87) Harry Kane (1.02) Deniz Undav (1.03) and Serhou Guirassy (1.16). He is the first recipient of the accolade, and Liverpool will still rely heavily on him as a starter.
