Man City star delivers brutal verdict on Aston Villa’s Premier League title chances

Aston Villa’s hopes of winning the Premier League have been written out by Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.

After 23 games, Unai Emery’s team is in fourth place in the standings, tied for fourth place with champions City. Pep Guardiola’s team has played two fewer games than Villa, Arsenal, and Liverpool, the top two teams.

Arsenal is in second place, just three points clear of Man City and Villa, while Liverpool is in first place, five points ahead of both teams. However, Ederson has eliminated Villa and Tottenham, who are currently in fifth place, from the title race.

“Listing the Premier League contenders is easy,” he remarked. “There are teams having fantastic seasons, like Liverpool, ourselves, Arsenal, and Tottenham, who all got off to a tremendous start to the season.

“Aston Villa is playing fantastic football under the direction of a fantastic manager, with fantastic players. However, I believe that Liverpool, City, and Arsenal are in the running for the crown. These three seem to be the favorites to win the Premier League, in my opinion.
