Eric Dier has a very basic reason for refusing to move into Harry Kane’s £30 million Munich property.

After a challenging start to the season under Ange Postecoglou, Eric Dier left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich last week. He is reunited with former teammate Harry Kane.

Because Harry has too many children, his friend Eric Dier will not be relocating to the famous striker’s new £30 million house.

On Monday, Dier will celebrate turning 30 at a training camp in Portugal with Bayern Munich, his new team. For both club and country, the former Spurs player and the father of four Kane have a tight relationship. They used to play golf on a regular basis, have family vacations, and travel together to Tottenham matches and England competitions.

However, Dier jokingly stated that he would not be relocating to Harry’s massive new estate, which is perched on a hillside outside of Munich, adding, “I’m not sure if he has enough room there. Although I haven’t been there yet, I will definitely attend because he invited me.

However, I doubt I’ll remain there. He has a large family, so I am aware of how busy he is. I’d prefer not to contribute to that work. Online, Dier had drawn criticism for his interview in which, upon arriving in Munich, he seemed to take on the accent of a “German.”

Supporters made jokes about how it brought back memories of the “Dutch twang” of former England manager Steve McClaren, who led FC Twente in 2008. Dier, who speaks Portuguese well, is committed to picking up German.

“I need some golf lessons and German lessons I need, for sure,” he stated. “I will be doing everything to learn the language, it is very important for me.” On his £2.5m loan, which might be made permanent in the summer, he added: “It has been fantastic since I arrived, I felt the history, and the warmth of the family here which feels special.”

He acknowledged that Kane was correct about his tendency to nod off on flights before leaving for Portugal today, stating: “I am known for sleeping very well when we travel so Harry is right, I will be asleep on the plane to Portugal.”
