THE WREXHAM AFC co-owners have shared their reactions to the club’s latest win in the FA Cup.
Wrexham played Shrewsbury away in the third FA Cup round this afternoon (January 7) in a tough game which resulted in a 1-0 win – securing their place in the fourth round.
Hugh Jackman, a close friend of Ryan Reynolds, who co-owned the company, posted a picture of the legendary Deadpool after the game.
Rob McElhenney also shared a comedic tweet soon after the game which read “You should’ve seen my living room.”
Ryan watched today’s thrilling FA Cup match from overseas, but he was at the STōK Cae Ras last month for the League Two Colchester United match.
Red supporters were on the edge of their seats as Shrewsbury squandered two good opportunities to equalize during the six minutes of added time, but Thomas O’Connor struck the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute.
Rob and Ryan might be in town for the next match, which takes place at the Racecourse on Saturday, January 13 against AFC Wimbledon.
