NEWS Andy Carroll full of praise for Eddie Howe and can’t wait to support Newcastle against PSG in Paris

Andy Carroll is currently a football player in France.

The former striker for Newcastle United now plays for Amiens FC, a second division team he joined in September.

Speaking to the official Ligue 1 website, Andy Carroll expressed his gratitude for Eddie Howe’s outstanding work at St. James’ Park.
Three months before Steve Bruce was finally fired and Newcastle United was taken over, in July 2021, Andy Carroll left the club.

The former NUFC striker is thrilled with Eddie Howe’s turnaround for players like Sean Longstaff and Jacob Murphy.

Andy Carroll is eager to support Newcastle United from the stands, just as he is excited about PSG’s match on Tuesday night.

Speaking to the official Ligue 1 website prior to PSG vs. Newcastle United, Andy Carroll said:

“Observing Newcastle United’s development is astounding.

“I was there two years ago.

“With athletes who compete in the Champions League right now.”

“With players like Sean Longstaff and Jacob Murphy, the team has improved greatly in recent years.”The turnaround of the team has also been significantly aided by manager Eddie Howe.
“I will go out and support my teammates at the Parc des Princes when they play PSG. I am still in contact with them from that time.”
