Kamada: Palace can keep getting better: View

Crystal Palace new man Daichi Kamada says the team will only get stronger after their pre-season success, having lifted the Stateside Cup in Tampa.

The Eagles beat West Ham 3-1 thanks to goals from Tyrick Mitchell, Jeff Schlupp and Odsonne Edouard, winning the trophy having already beaten Wolves in Annpolis.

“I think we did really good and we could win the game,” Kamada told Palace TV.

“This is the most important thing for us and I’m really happy to help the team today.”

Palace are still without England internationals Marc Guehi and Ebere Eze, Colombia internationals Daniel Munoz and Jefferson Lerma, and new signing Ismaila Sarr who will join up with the main group after tour.

Kamada says Oliver Glasner and the squad will only continue to develop once they are back to full strength.

“I think we are losing 7 or 8 national players but we are already a good team,” he said.

“I’m really happy to play with Crystal Palace.”
