Report: Midfielder believes he can win back job at Bayern Munich

Midfielder Leon Goretzka looks like he is willing to bet on himself again as yet another head coach — this time Vincent Kompany — appears ready to move from him:

Leon Goretzka was told by the club that he’s allowed to leave this summer. However, the midfielder wants to stay. Goretzka knows from experience, like last year when he was a candidate for sale, that in the end he will always get his playing time. His contract runs until 2026.

Now that this has happened two seasons in a row, Goretzka has to at least be thinking about how much longer he is willing to play at a club that is giving him clear signals that it no longer wants him.

Where would he go? That is a big question and surely not one that Goretzka has the answer to at this moment.
