West Ham eyeing move to bring giant 6ft 6in centre-back Dan-Axel Zagadou to Premier League

West Ham United allegedly want to sign giant defender Dan-Axel Zagadou in the January transfer window.

Dan Axel-Zagadou was a target for West Ham on a free transfer last year in fact, but he ended up joining Stuttgart in the end.

And now, according to a report from The Sun, Hammers manager David Moyes wants to bring the 6’6″ monster to the London Stadium during the January transfer window.

This season, Nayef Aguerd has had a lot of difficulty and is incredibly prone to mistakes. By the time this season concludes, Kurt Zouma will still be 36 years old, while Angelo Ogbonna is still having fitness issues.

Another left-footed center back with youth on their side would be a welcome addition to Moyes’ defensive lineup.

Additionally, it appears that the Scot has a particular person in mind.

According to The Sun, the Hammers have their eye on the Stuttgart center-back well in advance of the January transfer window.

In my opinion, he would immediately enhance our team’s defense, and I would be thrilled to see him relocate to East London.

Zagadou, who stands 6 feet 6 inches tall, possesses strength in the air and quickness on the ground.

He has averaged one tackle, 1.3 interceptions, 3.9 clearances, and 1.2 blocks per game in his 15 Bundesliga outings this season. The former Dortmund star excels when the ball is at his feet as well. He has an extremely amazing 87% completion rate (Who Scored) and averages 68.5 throws per game.

I think Dan-Axel Zagadou would be a fantastic addition to West Ham since he is ideally adapted to the demanding style of Premier League football.

West Ham should be challenging Stuttgart with a brazen approach for Dan-Axel Zagadou, even if it is evident that Stuttgart will not want to let the Frenchman go in the January transfer window.

Additionally, Ogbonna’s time at the London Stadium would most likely come to an end if the Hammers were to sign the Stuttgart defender, and Aguerd’s tenure with the team would also come to an end.
