Exclusive: Nottingham Forest accept £30m star man offer & land stunning £27m profit

Tottenham have been tracking the winger’s situation, while there is also interest from teams abroad, but Hudson-Odoi remains happy at Forest.

Having paid just £3million to sign him from Chelsea last summer, the club are looking to make a £27million profit after just one season.

Nottingham Forest plan to accept £30m offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi

After moving to the City Ground from Stamford Bridge a year ago, Hudson-Odoi scored eight goals and provided one assist in 29 Premier League games.

He established himself as a key player in the first team and was able to reignite his career after stalling at Chelsea and in an unsuccessful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.

The club had initial concerns about profit and sustainability rules before the departures of Moussa Niakhate and Orel Mangala before 30 June helped to balance the books.

As a result, they will not be forced to sell the likes of Hudson-Odoi, and the winger remains a big part of the squad under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Hudson-Odoi has two years remaining on his deal at the City Ground and remains happy with his performances and the level of game time he has been afforded.
