Beale hasn’t had a job since leaving the Rangers in October of last year, but he is now without a doubt the front-runner to succeed Tony Mowbray.

After making an impression at QPR, Beale declined a Wolves offer and signed with Rangers. He left following a dismal start to the current campaign, although his track record of player development and coaching skills are rumored to have impressed Sunderland.

He said on LinkedIn two months ago, “I have the time to reflect and visit, learn from, and watch others at work for the first time in 20 years.” Chelsea FC to Liverpool FC, SĂŁo Paulo FC, Rangers FC, Aston Villa FC, QPR FC, and Rangers FC from 2003 to 2023.

“I switched roles right away, switching duties without taking a break. Six distinct, exclusive clubs and an incredible journey to this point. I’m going to be returning to Brazil in the next two months to meet some friends before heading to the MLS to watch the playoffs and, at last, taking that much-needed journey to Japan to witness the J League up close.

“On my travels, I expect to catch up with a lot of familiar faces. The various cultural perspectives on the game and how it is perceived differently around the world intrigue me. This explains why our game is so distinct and thrilling. I’ve gained so much from the game. The most significant choice I make going forward will be how I continue to develop as a manager, coach, mentor, and student of this amazing game.”
