Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Stuttgart – Bundesliga

This season, Bayern Munich will be itching to show off their supremacy over their rivals, and they have the chance to do it this weekend when they play Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart can move above Thomas Tuchel’s club in the Bundesliga if the away team wins all three points at the Allianz Arena on Sunday night. Currently, Stuttgart is second in the league after Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.

Although Bayern is still recovering from their Champions League victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford, they do need to address some injury issues. Although there are a few key wide players missing, this is a squad with good depth.

This is the starting lineup Tuchel might select for Bayern Munich’s Sunday matchup against Stuttgart.

Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Stuttgart (4-2-3-1)

GK: Manuel Neuer – His return from injury has been very welcome for Bayern Munich, especially given Sven Ulreich’s injury.

RB: Konrad Laimer – Noussair Mazraoui is not going to be fit for this match which means Tuchel will likely call upon Konrad Laimer to be his right-back.

CB: Dayot Upamecano – Some feared last season that he was not the player Bayern expected him to be, but he has looked very assured recently.

CB: Kim Min-jae – He put in a wonderful performance against Man Utd, sniffing out any half-chance the Red Devils threatened to create. Rasmus Hojlund will not want to see him again.

LB: Alphonso Davies – Apart from the odd occasion where Antony got in behind him, Alphonso Davies had nothing to do at Old Trafford. He will want a similar night here, but he may not get it.

CM: Joshua Kimmich – Joshua Kimmich has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern Munich and he is a player that most teams in Europe would welcome with open arms.

CM: Leon Goretzka – He seems to have won back this place in the midfield and is starting regularly under Tuchel, which can only be a good thing for Bayern as he is extremely solid.

RW: Thomas Muller – Kingsley Coman impressed at Old Trafford but his latest injury means that Thomas Muller is expected to start here.

AM: Jamal Musiala – It was clearly exciting for Jamal Musiala to play at Old Trafford for Bayern, and whilst he didn’t score, he was a threat throughout. He will be here too.

LW: Leroy Sane – The German is playing well and benefitting from Serge Gnabry being out of action. He could be the difference-maker against Stuttgart.

ST: Harry Kane – He certainly would have liked to score at Old Trafford, but he may make up for that at the Allianz this Sunday in what is a very big game.
