Four Nottingham Forest players are to leave this summer on a free transfer
|Nottingham Forest are now set to offload four players in the summer as free agents as decisions have been made on their futures. Nuno Espirito Santo‘s men have made some positive strides towards retaining their Premier League status.
Two games remain in their Premier League season and Forest could secure their place in the top flight for next season by the end of play tomorrow.
Forest have pulled three points clear of Luton Town who will kick off before them tomorrow in their game against West Ham United.
Although Forest will be aware of what needs to be done by the time their game kicks off at the City Ground against Chelsea, it will add more pressure to the players.
Regardless of whether Forest remain in the top flight or not, it now looks like four players will be moving on as their contracts come to an end.
Evangelos Marinakis has been no stranger to making changes in the transfer windows and this summer looks like it will be no different.
Who could now be playing their final week of football at Nottingham Forest
Forest’s unsuccessful appeal against their points deduction now means they will have to secure their own future in their two remaining games.
And Forest have had to rely on some of their star players with the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi providing the goods on the weekend against Sheffield United.
That is one player who Forest will hope will still be around for next season and then there are question marks over the future of Morgan Gibbs-White.
But according to The Telegraph, there are four players who will be allowed to leave as free agents over the coming weeks.

The report also claims Forest will be looking to spend again this summer – albeit with restrictions on their ability to spend.
However, Forest will be able to clear up some room to spend by offloading some of their big earners like the four stated above over the summer.
