Everton: Sean Dyche sack update emerges after takeover events at Goodison Park

Bryan King believes there will be a “question mark” over the future of Sean Dyche at Goodison Park when a takeover of Everton is finally complete.

The ex-Everton scout feels that any prospective new owners, whether that be 777 Partners or not, might want to make their mark by shuffling things around in the dugout at Goodison.

It emerged last week that 777’s potential Everton takeover is at risk, which could force Farhad Moshiri to find a new buyer for the club.

King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – feels that whoever ends up taking over at Everton will have some decisions to make.

“Whenever new owners come into a football club the first thing they seem to want to do is clear out the staff,” King said.

“If you want to have a successful football club then you need a decent board and stadium, but more importantly you need a good team which is led by a good manager.

“The thing with Dyche is he is a good manager, but he has never been in a position to win things, it has always been about survival for him, and that is what any new owners will be thinking about.

“That will leave a question mark hanging over Dyche’s future at Everton. Having said that, you can’t take anything away from him, while he knew what he was getting into, he still stepped in and took over at a football club in total disarray.”

Could Everton look to sack Sean Dyche after a takeover is eventually completed at Goodison Park?

Dyche has done a wonderful job as Everton boss considering the external circumstances at Goodison Park which are out of the 52-year-old’s control.

He has kept his team competitive amid all the uncertainty surrounding the club, and even after multiple points deductions this season, there is still a good chance he keeps the Blues up.

Dyche most definitely deserves praise, but unfortunately for him, whoever ends up taking over at Everton might want to make some changes in the dugout as they look to push the club forward in a more positive direction.
