Unforgivable West Ham incoming error if Moyes sells ‘impressive’ Pep best players in the January window

West Ham United could be set to make a big mistake by selling ‘impressive talent’ in the January transfer window. David Moyes has a lot of work to do in the January transfer window at West Ham, with numerous incomings and outgoings expected.

The Hammers manager needs to bolster his forward line with more quality and speed, but he could have to let go of a few players first because of FFP issues.

Maxwel Cornet is one player who might be leaving because West Ham is reportedly willing to sell him to Fenerbahce for about £6 million this winter.

To be honest, I’m not sure why Moyes is so hesitant to employ the international Ivory Coast player. Furthermore, I fail to see why it would be desirable to sell him for so little in January.

I believe it would be an incredibly grave error on the part of the Hammers boss if Moyes allowed Cornet to depart this winter.

The Hammers could be on the verge of making a really bad mistake by selling the Ivory Coast international.

As it is, we are a team completely lacking in direct running and pace, and Cornet is one of the few players who can provide us with those qualities.

Pep Guardiola lauded Cornet, calling him a “impressive talent,” after Lyon defeated Manchester City in the Champions League in 2020 (Chronicle).

The winger is obviously a very excellent player who hasn’t been given a full chance by Moyes; he particularly excelled with Lyon and Burnley before joining the Hammers.

Cornet needs to understand that as long as Moyes is in charge, his time at West Ham is up. Having played him very little this season, the Scot was dealt the final blow to the face when Moyes selected the ailing

Especially for such a little transfer fee, I firmly feel that Moyes will be making a grave mistake if he permits Cornet to depart West Ham during the January transfer window.

If the Scot decides to move on with the Ivorian this winter, I have no doubt that he will regret selling him. Hopefully, he will reconsider and give the Ivorian a chance to prove himself over the next weeks.
