Morgan Gibbs-White sends rallying cry to Nottingham Forest fans

Gibbs-White is far from the problem at Forest and without him, the Reds would probably be in a similar position to Sheffield United at the bottom of the Premier League.

The player looks set for a really bright future and yesterday he took his tally of goal contributions to nine, with his assist the fifth time he’s created a goal this season.

After the game, Forest star Gibbs-White postedon his Instagram story a message for the fans. It read: “Everyone must stick together and believe because we are a family. Thank you for your support.”

Forest have to dig deep with relegation now looming large

Although it was imperative that Forest didn’t lose yesterday, they really needed to claim a victory and the pressure is now on Nuno Espirito Santo.

Forest did everything right in the first half, soaking up the pressure and managing to score from one of several chances that were created during the contest.

Gibbs-White is right when he says that the team must stick together. Even with a points deduction, Forest will remain within touching distance of a few clubs in the table.

There are still nine games to play this season and all is not lost from a Forest perspective. With two homes to come after the break, the Reds – and Gibbs-White will hope that a victory can be obtained.
