CONFIRMED: ARSENAL SIGN FORMER WOLVES STAR

Arsenal have signed 16-year-old defender Brayden Clarke, as reported by the club’s official website.

A centre-back who has been capped by Wales at U17 level, Clarke was previously at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ academy.

Clarke has joined Arsenal on a scholarship contract. He is expected to sign a professional deal when he turns 17 in July.

Arsenal revealed that Clarke is set to be involved with the U18s squad at home to Crystal Palace today.

Clarke made 18 appearances for Wolves at U18 level and also featured once for Newcastle U18s as a trialist.

He is the first academy player that Arsenal have signed at U18 level or above since Lino Sousa in December 2021.
