Manager makes ‘tough’ admission on Luton’s nightmare scenario before Nottingham Forest

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards says his players must quickly pick themselves up ahead of facing Nottingham Forest, after throwing away a three-goal lead to lose 4-3 to Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

Forest face Luton at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League on Saturday in a huge match towards the bottom of the table. The Reds are just three points above the Hatters in 17th place.

“We put ourselves in such a good position to win a Premier League game of football and to be sat here talking about a defeat is tough,” said Edwards.

“Huge game on Saturday. Losing is difficult anyway but in that manner it does hurt but if we can’t pick ourselves up for a huge Premier League game then there’s something wrong.”
