One ill and keeper switch as Mark Robins makes six changes to his Coventry City team to face Stoke
|In six changes, including a change in goalkeeper, Mark Robins has put Coventry City back in the starting lineup to take on Stoke. Callum O’Hare is back in the starting lineup.
Due to exhaustion, the Sky Blues’ star forward missed Wednesday night’s 2-2 draw with Plymouth. However, he is back in his usual position at number ten, replacing Kasey Palmer, who is benched, on a day when Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is out due to illness.
Elsewhere, Joel Latibeaudiere is switched to right-back to cover for Milan van Ewijk, who is rested among the subs, while the remainder of the back four sees Luis Binks come back into the side in place of Liam Kitching, while Jay Dasilva is deployed at left-back as Jake Bidwell drops out.
Josh Eccles comes into midfield alongside Victor Torp while Fabio Tavares makes his first start since his return from a year out with injury, deployed wide on the right in place of Sakamoto. That leaves Haji Wright, who returns the starting line-up on the left and Ellis Simms leading the line as the lone striker.
City: Ben Wilson; Joel Latibeaudiere, Bobby Thomas, Luis Binks, Jay Dasilva, Josh Eccles, Victor Torp; Fabio Tavares, Callum O’Hare, Haji Wright; Ellis Simms.
