Thomas Tuchel’s damning message to his Bayern Munich players in ‘explosive dressing room statement’

Following Bayern Munich’s 3-0 loss at Bayer Leverkusen, and  1-0 loss at Lazio Thomas Tuchel chastised his team in a caustic remark, according to reports.

Following the crushing defeat on Saturday, the Bayern manager is alleged to have “caused a stir” in the locker room with his cutting remarks.

Thomas Tuchel reportedly told his Bayern Munich players 'you're not as good as I thought' after they lost to Bayer Leverkusen

In the fight for the Bundesliga championship, Bayern sits five points behind Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen and has a real chance of ending their 11-year winning streak.

‘You’re not as good as I imagined, then I just have to adapt to your level,’ Tuchel told his players in a shocking revelation, according to Sky Germany.

One of the largest clubs in Europe is under pressure after their ambitions of winning the Champions League were dashed on Wednesday night with a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the round of 16.

Bayern’s prospects of silverware are slipping away after losses to Leverkusen and Lazio

Even while Bayern does not currently have plans to fire Tuchel, his future will be greatly affected by the next games against Bochum, Leipzig, and Freiburg as well as the second leg against Lazio.

After two straight games, Kane’s rating from Bild has dropped to the lowest conceivable level. Tabloid Bild called his performance against Leverkusen a “catastrophe.”

Rio Ferdinand, who criticized Bayern for putting on a “ugly performance” on TNT Sports, thinks the team will have trouble getting out of its “rut” before the second leg in March.

They are a “team of individuals,” according to Jamie Carragher, who believes that their performance and outcome have destroyed their prospects of winning the Champions League.

“I think he puts himself above the team and a huge gap arises between himself and the team,” Sky Germany expert Marcel Reif remarked.

I didn’t get the feeling that the squad in Rome was thinking, “That really motivated me.”

Bayern has been able to rely on their unwavering form and domestic domination, even during the hardships of the Champions League, but that is untrue.

In August, Harry Kane had a forgettable start as RB Leipzig defeated Bayern 3-0 in the German Super Cup.

Then, in November, they suffered a shock when Saarbrucken defeated them 2-1 and sent them to the third division of the DFB-Pokal.

Their prospects of taking home any hardware this season are dwindling as they are now five points behind an undefeated Leverkusen.

While Tuchel’s outbursts and desire to inspire his team make sense, it will be challenging to pull his players along with him if, as Reif implies, there is a “rift.”
