After losing 6-0 at home to Arsenal on Sunday, February 11, Moyes’ Irons have now lost five straight Premier League games.

However, Football Insider has been informed by a reliable source that Bowen, 27, has “big gratitude” for Moyes.

After signing the forward from Hull City in 2020, the Scot gave him the opportunity to flourish in the Premier League.

Since then, Bowen has earned five caps for England, scored 38 goals in 155 league games, and assisted the Irons in winning the Europa Conference League the previous season.

The forward, who can play center forward or right flank, has scored 14 goals in 30 appearances this season.

As the 6-0 loss to Arsenal progressed, a sizable segment of the West Ham fan base demanded that Moyes be fired, and several supporters cast their votes by leaving the London Stadium early.

Even with their dismal recent performance, the Irons are only one spot outside of a European spot following a successful holiday season.

After topping their group, the Londoners will also participate in Europa League knockout stage games starting next month.

At the end of the current campaign, Moyes’ contract at the London Stadium expires. This is his second stint there.
