Prior to the transfer deadline, Nottingham Forest is considering a loan move for Maxwel Cornet, the attacker for West Ham.

Forest is interested in signing Cornet to a temporary contract that would last until the end of the season, but they are aware that their transfer market options are limited due to their limited financial resources.

Cornet, 27, is a member of the Hammers’ bench and has only played in two Premier League games this year. However, he did score in the team’s previous matchup in the top tier, a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.

Also, negotiations are in progress regarding Cornet’s possible loan relocation to the City Ground.

After spending ÂŁ17.5 million to go from Burnley to West Ham in August 2022, the attacker from Ivory Coast has only made three Premier League appearances.

This month, Gio Reyna at Borussia Dortmund and Cornet are two of Forest’s top targets as they look to bolster their assault.

While all is going on, the Hammers are interested in Al Ittihad forward Jota and are in negotiations to sign a deal with the Saudi team.

Said Benrahma might also be let go by the Hammers as they try to sign Jota on a loan.

After negotiations to sign Ibrahim Osman, a winger for Nordsjaelland, broke down over their asking price, West Ham turned to Jota.

Gio Reyna at Borussia Dortmund and Cornet are two targets for Forest, who are eager to add attacking reinforcements this month.
