Since Arsenal won’t be playing football this weekend, transfer rumors and speculation will undoubtedly dominate the Gunners’ headlines for the next several days.

Despite the obvious need for reinforcements in Mikel Arteta’s squad, the north Londoners have not added a single player during the January transfer window. Since Ivan Toney resumed playing for Brentford, there has been no more talk about him heading to the Emirates Stadium, so any hopes of bringing in a new striker will have to wait until the summer.

Thankfully, Edu Gaspar and Arteta will be on high alert following a recent and positive news regarding Victor Osimhen’s future at Napoli. The prolific goal scorer has long been linked to the Gunners, but they are reportedly trailing Chelsea in the chase for him.

Osimhen will now depart the team during the summer transfer window, even though he signed a new contract at the end of the previous year. President Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that the club will lose its most valuable asset.

“This was already known since this summer, our negotiations [over the new contract] were friendly, otherwise it would not have been so long,” he stated in a statement on Friday. We were certain he would sign with Real Madrid, PSG, or another elite English team.

The 25-year-old may be favored to join with Chelsea, but Arsenal will also be eager to work out a deal.

This is the player Arsenal needs to sign, if they ever needed permission to do so. Being a “top English club,” Arsenal will be confident in their ability to recruit Osimhen in the summer by defeating their opponents in London.

The Gunners have two early advantages over Chelsea, who appear destined to finish outside the top four once more. They have the ability to compete for the Premier League title and qualify for the Champions League. Why not try it again? They demonstrated with Declan Rice that they are capable of persuading top players to join them.

It will be challenging to resolve the financial issues for Arsenal. However, it’s Osimhen, and he’s practically the one missing from Arteta’s team.

Sacha Boey is one player who will not be joining Arsenal. The Gunners reportedly renewed their interest in the Galatasaray defender during the summer and made a bid for him.

Turkish publication It appears like Boey will be joining German powerhouse Bayern Munich, despite a Spor claiming that a bid of £25 million had been made. Fabrizio Romano claims that the two clubs have verbally agreed on a deal, and the Frenchman will go to Munich for his medical.

Romano asserted that Boey would have the “opportunity of a lifetime” if he joined Thomas Tuchel’s team. He’s going to Bayern to compete alongside Noussair Mazraoui at right back.
