To replace him, they are now in negotiations with Nuno Espirito Santo, the former manager of Wolves.

Nuno managed Wolves for four years before being fired from his position less than four months into his tenure at Tottenham due to a sequence of five losses in seven games.

After that, in July 2022, he signed with Al-Ittihad. He helped the Jeddah-based team win the Saudi championship the previous season, but he was fired after twelve games of the current season because of his inconsistent play.

Additionally, he has managed Porto, Valencia, and Rio Ave. in the past.

At the City Ground this Saturday, Forest takes on Bournemouth. On December 26 and December 30, Newcastle United and Manchester United meet.

Steve Cooper, thank you for all the wonderful memories and for getting Nottingham Forest back into the Premier League.
