INTERVIEW: Jay Dasilva looks ahead to FA Cup tie and enjoying his time at Coventry

Returning to Hillsborough…

It’s a little strange. It will be a little unusual to make the same trip twice, as we were only there six days ago, but the boys are eager to go back and maybe advance to the next round.

aiming to advance in the FA Cup…

“I’m thrilled. I enjoy competing in the FA Cup since it is a huge competition with a rich history in this country.

Not being in the starting eleven…

It’s been really challenging. At the end of the day, every player wants to play, but the boys are playing really well and we’ve gained some ground.

We’re in a good location and everyone gets along. Of course, everyone wants to play, but I can’t talk too much when we’re winning.

Getting set to leave…

“You have to be prepared to go on and do the proper things and make sure you’re ready to accept your chance when it comes. If you’re not happy about starting, you can’t whine or pout about it.

Try to have an effect if it’s coming off the bench, but when you do get a start, take it”

The formation swap and departure of the wing-backs

To be honest, I believe that the left back position is one that comes naturally to me.

“I believe that after we moved to the four at the back, we performed better and appeared more at ease.

“To be honest, if I were the manager, I would find it difficult to make changes to the team as well.”

Talking with the management…

Each person is unique. You can express your opinions and frustrations, but in the end, what matters most is to show him that you’re ready by working hard every day and acting appropriately.

I’m having fun watching the top six race.

“You could say that my previous seasons have been similar. It’s been the same—a few victories here and there, inconsistent play, some losses, and a midtable result.

But ever since coming through this door, I feel like it’s a breath of new air, and I’m having a great time as we build and go up the table.

Taking stock of the last six months…

“It’s been a lot of fun, and now I just need to help the boys and get back on the team, that’s what I really want to do.”
